6 Days Kili Safari

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli (approx. 4-5hrs drive)

After breakfast at 0800hrs, you will be met by your driver guide and after safari briefing depart for Amboseli national park. Famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains.
On arrival have an en-route game drive, check in at your lodge for lunch time.
Afternoon game drive at the park later Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge/Ol Tukai Lodge on Full board basis.

Day 2: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru via Nairobi (approx. 6 -7hrs drive )

After an early breakfast, at 0700hrs depart for to Lake Nakuru National Park.
The drive via farming country and homesteads via the Great Rift Valley escarpment edge is scenic. Arrive at your Lodge in time for a late lunch. After lunch proceed for afternoon game drive. The Lake Nakuru National Park is home to hundreds of bird species including a few flamingoes and other bird species. The lake also hosts the black and white rhino population in its sanctuary.

Day 3: Amboseli

After a cup of coffee/tea, early morning game drive in Amboseli Park. Weather permitting you will be able to view animals with the bewildering spectacle of Mt. Kilimanjaro forming a backdrop. Early morning has the best view of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the. Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend time at leisure before lunch. Late afternoon game drive.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara (approx. 5-6hrs drive)

After breakfast proceed to the Masai Mara game reserves with stops at scenic points.
Afternoon game viewing drive.
Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp/Sarova Mara Game Camp on Full board basis

Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara

A very early morning game drive in the Masai Mara – the ideal time to see game as temperatures are cooler and hopefully lion, cheetah and leopard will be roaming the vast grasslands in search of prey. Return to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the morning at leisure or partake in optional activities, a visit to Masai village to see their nomadic life this at extra cost. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive to get a closer look at the Mara and to look out for the 'Big 5'.
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay at Ashnil Mara Camp/Sarova Mara Game Camp on Full board basis

Optional Balloon safari (US$ 480 per person)
A well worth it and recommended activity in the Masai Mara National Reserve is the balloon safari early in the morning; you will be woken and driven to the departure site. Once in the air, the view of the surrounding landscape, the rising of the sun between the mountains and the congregation of the animals at the river is beautiful. This all concludes with a champagne breakfast and memories of a lifetime.

Day 06: Masai Mara – Nairobi (approx. 5-6hrs drive)

Early morning breakfast at the Lodge. At 0830hrs, check out and drive back to Nairobi.
On arrival you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight back home.
