This two-night safari offers a wonderful combination of rift valley scenery and plains dotted with game.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: 04 December 2023 Nairobi – Masai Mara (approx. 6hrs drive, 330km)
At 0700hrs you will be picked from your place of residence. After safari briefing drive south via Narok to the Mara reserve with an optional stop at the Escarpment Viewpoint. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure and in the early evening embark on a game drive to get a closer look at the Mara.
It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common.
Dinner and overnight at your Lodge/Camp on Full board basis.
Day 2: 05 December 2023 Masai Mara
Early morning game drive in the Masai Mara the ideal time to see game as temperatures are cooler and hopefully lion, cheetah and leopard will be roaming the vast grasslands in search of prey. Return to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the morning at leisure or partake in optional activities, a visit to Masai village to see their nomadic life (at extra cost). After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive to look out for the 'Big 5'.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your Lodge/ Camp on Full board basis.
Day 3: 06 December 2023 Masai Mara – Nairobi (approx. 6hrs, 330km)
After breakfast, check-out and drive back to Nairobi.
Dropoff at your place of residence.
